I love to turn off all the other lights in the house and watch a Christmas movie or special with only the Christmas tree to light the room. Call me sentimental, but it's special, kind of romantic. There's also a lesson to be learned; the darker the situation, the brighter the shine. A tiny ray of light, flickering against all odds, provides direction, comfort, warmth. Hope.
Christmas to me is more than a holiday, more than a season. It is life itself. When God sent His only Son into the darkened world to offer salvation it was the greatest gift ever given. It is my sincere hope this year that you and your family have a wonderful Christmas. If you don't know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, I trust you will accept Him soon. He is the true Light, ever shining. After all, He is what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown.
Merry Christmas and may 2016 be a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.
